The top two teams have extended their margin over the rest of the competition after a decisive round seven of the South West Gippsland Darts League (SWGDL).
Just Social and Snipers really flexed their muscles, with Socials proving too strong for bottom-placed Mud Rats and Snipers holding down second position with a 13-2 thumping of Gembrook.
But most interest in round seven centred on the huge third v fourth shootout between Rebels and Paky One at the Railway Hotel in Warragul.
Third-placed Paky One went in to the match with a one-game margin over Rebels, who have now joined Paky in equal third place after a nail-biting 8-7 result.
And Warriors have kept their finals hopes alive with a brilliant 12-3 win over Middels.
The tons kept flowing in round seven, with Dean throwing seven, Thom 6, and Aaron and Terry five each.
There were no 180’s thrown in round seven, and Pez from Just Socials still leads the way this season with a 158 peg out.
