Outer East netball was back on this week with Narre Warren and Pakenham headlining week one of action.

Narre Warren was on-top early scoring 11-4 in the first quarter with Erin Bell helping her side take the lead dominating as goal-scorer

Pakenham picked up the slack in the second-quarter scoring 11 goals thanks to Chloe Morgan.

In the second-half Narre Warren lifted to new heights with Jemma Osborne at her best coming off the bench.

Goal-defence Gabrielle Dwyer did her best in defence to limit Pakenham’s attacking prowess. Pakenham’s attacking pressure was helped along by wing defence Alexis Jeanes who controlled the sidelines.

The Magpies third term was dominant putting on 10 goals to six, opening up a 16-goal lead going into the fourth quarter.

Narre Warren put its foot down in the final term pilling on another 10 goals to six seeing them run-out 20-goal winners.

Erin Bell was pivotal in seeing Narre Warren on-top finishing with 26 goals, while Osborne did her best rotating off the bench with 11 goals.

Pakenham lacked attacking flair with Eliza Molino and Hayley Poulton providing relief off the bench.

The Magpies have Gabrielle Dwyer to thank in defence keeping their opposition to only 23.

The rest of round one takes place next weekend.

Narre Warren next face Monbulk away on Saturday 23 April, meanwhile Pakenham face the formidable ROC combination on Sunday 24 April to headline a bumper ANZAC round of netball.
