Pakenham has continued its hot streak in Outer East Premier Division after a great battle against Woori Yallock at Healesville.

The Lions needed to draw on every inch of their power and determination to outwit the Tigers.

Pakenham trailed by a single goal at three-quarter time and continued to be a threat offensively thanks to Mia Washington and Chloe Morgan.

A final-term-goal-scoring rush for the Lions saw them score 11 goals to five in the last quarter to outrun their opposition.

As the game continued to ramp up the task was left to Lions’ goalkeeper Teneille Morrell to continue to limit Woori Yallock’s attack.

Pakenham prevailing in the 42-37 final score.

The win sees Pakenham even the ledger this season at 4-4 after four consecutive losses to start the season.

Undefeated Narre Warren continues to go from strength to strength as it breezed past Upwey Tecoma.

With the absence of Erin Bell, up stepped Jemma Osborne to put on a scoring master-class.

Osborne scored 49 goals in the Magpies 57-39 goal win as it cruised past Upwey Tecoma in a classy performance.

Wandin had things its own way from the opening whistle against Beaconsfield with Abby Gedge guiding her side home scoring 37 goals in the 46-27 goal win.

Olinda Ferny Creek didn’t seem to be bothered when it sailed past Mt Evelyn.

Olinda was helped by Hayley Howard and Taylah Werner, who combined for 53 goals in the 55-27 final score.

Monbulk also found themselves on the winners list with a commanding 46-38 win over ROC at home.

Tarnee Adams and Stephanie Puopolo combined to do the majority of the work to see Monbulk secure its third win of the season.

ROC’s Sarah Castricum scored 18 goals, but it wasn’t enough to see her side put more pressure on a top-two spot.

ROC currently sits third on the ladder behind Narre Warren and Olinda Ferny Creek.

DIVISION ONE

Berwick had proceedings go its own way when it breezed past Emerald at Edwin Flack Reserve.

Berwick goal shooter Emiliy Pupuke scored 24 goals to continue to be an offensive threat.

Pupuke was helped by Emma Clarke who scored 17 goals of her own to help Berwick claim a 19-goal win.

Berwick Springs couldn’t replicate the same form as their cross-town rivals, falling 31 goals adrift of a charging Seville.

Seville, who currently sit comfortably on top of the ladder, led from start to finish to extinguish the Titans attack.

Hayley Ray (32) and Ella Morse (18) playing pivotal roles in the 62-31 final score.

Berwick Springs had plenty to smile about with Jess Hoskin scoring a team-high 21 goals on an otherwise disappointing day.

Belgrave had to fight tooth and nail to out play Gembrook Cockatoo.

The game continued to see-saw with both sides having the fair share of ascendancy throughout the game.

With the scores all even (29-29) at three quarter time, a final term dash from Belgrave saw them claw over the line by a lone goal.

Ashlee Murphy (22) and Georgia Donnelly (4) combined to secure victory in the most anxious of situations.
