Klaver and Beruldsen strike at Drouin

Some great scores were recorded at Drouin Golf Club on Saturday with players competing in pairs for the Four-Ball Best-Ball event.

Mark Klaver and Phil Beruldsen combined best to score 46 points to take home the number-one prize.

Klaver and Beruldsen were two shots clear of the down the line winners, who were Dermott and Rohan Berkhout with 44 points, Shane Davidson and Glenn Vanderlight also with 44 points and Danny Gorman and Glenn Robinson with 43 points.

Nearest the pins were taken by Michael Lithgow on the 5th, Glenn Vanderlight on the 8th, Darren McKerrow on the 10th and Kevin Johnson on the 14th.

The weather for Wednesday’s Stableford Competition was not very favourable, however eight brave players battled the elements to finish their rounds.

The winner for the day was Brian Seers who had 33 points.

Upcoming Events are Stableford on Wednesday and Stroke on Saturday for August’s Monthly Medal.
