LANG LANG GOLF
Another rainy Saturday saw reduced fields for the Men’s Foursomes Championship Board Event and regular Saturday Stableford competition.
Those who were brave enough to front the constant rain enjoyed a relatively dry course, given the amount of rainfall we had.
Congratulations to Gary Sosenko and Matthew Skinner for taking out the event with a gross score of 79, which was very impressive given the conditions.
Lang Lang Golf Club had the pleasure of hosting promising New South Wales amateur Annika Rathbone for a round of golf on Saturday.
The 19-year-old recently competed in the Australian Open in Sydney and plays off the impressive handicap of plus-6.
Annika was a delight to have at the club and was more than happy to share some tips with members.
We wish Annika well in her future endeavours; she has promised to be back at Lang Lang for another round in the not-to-distant future.
This Friday night, December 15, will be our first Twilight Social night for the summer season.
Places are filling up quickly so make sure you book your spot ASAP.
Bookings are also required for dinner if you are not playing golf.
The major prize on the night will be a $250 cash prize for nearest the pin on the 9th, or the “party hole” which it becomes on the night.
Our previous Social Nights have been very well attended with a great atmosphere.
