Firearm used in armed robbery

POLICE are hunting a man who demanded cash from a shop assistant at an Eagle Drive convenience store in Pakenham yesterday morning.
Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following the armed robbery at about 11.40am.
The man approached the counter and made demands for cash threatening the staff member with a firearm.
The staff member handed over some cash before the man left the premises and it is believed he rode off on a motorcycle.
He is described as about 180cm tall, with a muscular build and was wearing a black balaclava and black jumper.
