VICTORIA’S hot and windy weather has already caused issues this morning, with brigades called out to two fires in Cardinia.
A small fire broke out near Dallas Brooks Park in Upper Beaconsfield this morning.
A CFA spokesperson said the blaze was a grass and scrub fire and the fire crew quickly declared it to be safe.
The fire was never more than five hectares in size.
Crews also attended to reports of a fire in Lang Lang, but said it was a false alarm.
