POLICE are seeking information from residents to develop a database of closed-circuit TV coverage in the Cardinia, Casey and Greater Dandenong regions to assist investigations.
Residents have been invited to volunteer information about CCTV cameras installed at their homes and businesses.
Police are seeking the following details:
* Name, address and contact number.
* Description of the area covered by CCTV.
* Type of recording system. For example: hard drive or direct to computer.
* How to copy footage. For example: USB, CD or DVD.
All information given will only be accessible by police.
