Food gifts flood in

CHILDREN at Casey Childcare and Kindergarten are encouraged to think of their community and participate in community service.
This past week, the families at Casey Childcare were asked to donate non- perishable foods to support 4Cs Crisis Relief Centre, and support the 100-plus families per day accessing food.
The 4Cs website provided a guide on items most needed, and it was wonderful to see the support of families as bags of tinned soups, fish, beans etc were donated for this worthy organisation.
Each year, Casey Childcare participates in fund-raising for various organisations including Pink Ribbon Day, Daffodil Day and Jeans for Genes day to name a few.
4Cs reflects our local community and this call for food provided many opportunities to chat to children about the world around them, and how they could help those in need.
