YOUTHS targeting young teenagers were arrested over an alleged robbery last Tuesday.
It is alleged that two 16-year-olds robbed 15-year-old kids, using some force, for some quick cash about 5.30pm on Tuesday 10 January.
Witnesses told the Gazette they saw three police cars rush down McGregor Road to the scene at Heritage Springs Shopping Centre where a group of 10 to 15 teenagers were “hanging around”.
The two male offenders were arrested over an alleged small amount of cash being stolen from two of the kids.
The boys were taken into custody, with one bailed to appear at the Dandenong Children’s Court on Friday 24 February and the other assisting with inquiries.
