New osteopath joins the team

CARDINIA Sports and Spinal Clinic is pleased to welcome a new osteopath.
Dr Skye Andersen, osteopath at the clinic for the past six years, is expecting her first child and will be taking maternity leave from August.
Lisa is a welcome addition to the team and will be taking over Skye’s patients from this time.
Lisa Gadd is a qualified and registered osteopath with the Australian Osteopathic Association.
Lisa graduated from RMIT University after completing a Bachelor in Applied Science and a Masters of Osteopathy. During her studies she also became a qualified personal trainer and gym instructor, spending many years working in the health and fitness industry.
She became interested in osteopathy as a teenager after suffering recurrent lower back pain, and experiencing a successful and rapid response from the treatment herself. She now wants to help others return to their optimum mobility in order to perform daily activities, pain free.
Lisa has experience working both as a massage therapist and personal trainer, giving her invaluable skills and knowledge to deal with the rehabilitation of injuries.
She has extended her knowledge in the field of exercise conditioning and rehabilitation by working as a sports trainer.
Over the past three years she was involved in the Waverley Netball Centre’s weeknight and Saturday medical faculty. In 2009 she was appointed club osteopath at Rowville Football Club and continues with this role to date.
