Weather not to blame as members hit sick list

IT seems that the weather is not to blame for a lack of members attending Berwick Senior Citizens.
There were several new members reported sick. They included Isobel Jaeger-Glover, Dianne Kimmit and Monica Miller, as well as Murray Grad.
The reduction in numbers is giving cause for concern.
Those who do attend, however, really enjoy the fellowship. The two door prizes at the meeting went to Lorna Bird and Alice Haynes.
The meat tray was won by Audrey Appleyard, while the weekly club voucher went to Erika Albert. A raffle was drawn, and the prizes went to Hilda Boening and Lorna Bird.
The prizes for bingo which followed went to: Lorna Bird, Ian Wollerman, Nora Todd, Barbara Sweet (twice), Ron Giles, Audrey Appleyard (twi-ce), Barbara Cunningham and Bessie Gould.
The club offers good fellowship and a friendly atmosphere to all “senior citizens”, which means anybody over the age of 50 years.
The present members would love to have you join them.
