PAKENHAM’S Cardinia Club has bolted out of the gate to accept the Club of the Year (Metropolitan) for the second year in a row.
More than 20 of the Cardinia Club’s committee and management team attended the Achievement Awards night, which recognises the hard work of clubs across the state, at the Crown Palladium.
Cardinia Club operations manager Brad Ford said it was a great award to win for the venue and its staff.
“We won it last year too, so this is our second year in a row,” Mr Ford said.
“It’s a good award to win; it’s recognition for the hard work of the staff and management to create a good venue with great customer service and quality food and beverage.”
The Cardinia Club was also named the Best Gaming Venue in the section for 50 and more machines.
