ONE year ago, Caldermeade teen Shea de Winter was in a helicopter on her way to the Royal Children’s Hospital following a horror crash in Kooweerup.
But on Thursday night, one day before the first anniversary of the crash, Shea was all smiles as she made her way to the Kooweerup Secondary College debutante ball at The Grand in Wantirna.
Mum Anne Bradley said her “princess” was all smiles, and nothing could take away from the 16-year-old’s night of nights.
The year 11 student had her make-up and hair done and she looked like a star in her beautiful gown.
It was a night she won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
