PAKENHAM’S normally quiet Gardenia Street was in the spotlight today as police moved in to cordon off a residence.
Police were tight lipped about the details but confirmed at the scene that a man had locked himself in a Gardenia Street home. Police could not confirm if the man was armed.
It is believed the street was closed to traffic from around midday and was still closed at 5.30pm.
