WHILE Fiorente may have jumped the field in the Melbourne Cup, the district’s best riders were making their own big leaps at the Cardinia Shire’s, Show Jumping Classic.
The Classic, sponsored this year by the Cardinia Shire, was held at Huxtable Reserve in Pakenham Upper on Tuesday 5 November with top honours going to Sam Richardson on Play with Paint.

Pony Club (55cm height class): 1st Jaimi on Spook. 2nd and 4th Georgia riding Penny and Bella. 3rd Mikayla on Toby. 5th Olivia on Squirt. 6th Shaylan on ESB Irish Jazz.
Pony Club (D Grade): 1st Jessica on Lakevalle Wizard 2nd Rachel on Lakevale Moonsprite. 3rd Lilly on NP Ashton.
Pony Club (E Grade): 1st Jaimi riding Kismet. 2nd Georgia riding Penny. 3rd G. Denton riding Little Wiz. 4th Jemma riding Bits’n’Pieces. Georgia (2nd) also came 5th on Bella.
