A REPTILE display at the Pakenham Show will be one of the features of the first show to be held at the PB Ronald Reserve.
President of the show society Geoff Young encouraged people to come along and see the new format at the show.
The Pakenham Central Marketplace is supporting the event this year.
“It’s really good to see businesses in Pakenham supporting the show,” he said.
“Without them it wouldn’t be possible.
“We are hoping to gauge more businesses to bring them on board.”
Claudia Presta from the marketplace said they were proud to be helping the event.
“Pakenham Central Marketplace is committed to assisting community events where possible and is proud to sponsor the Pakenham Show for 2014,” she said.
For the first time in its history the show will be free to enter and the 2014 theme is multiculturalism and the community.
The Pakenham Show will be held on Saturday 15 March from 9am to 4.30pm at its new venue, the PB Ronald Reserve, next to Pakenham Hall, at the junction of Henry and John streets.
The show, which has been held for more than a century, will showcase all the usual attractions plus much more. Show schedules and trade stand applications are available to download from the website www.pakenhamshow.org.au
