Second-placed Seaford proved too strong for a struggling Pakenham on Saturday afternoon at North Seaford Reserve, winning 8-1 in the State League 5 South competition.
The hosts got away from Pakenham in the second half, with the only silver-lining for the visitors being a Khoodadad Mohammadi goal in a game which saw five yellow cards given.
Pakenham will hope to capitalise on a golden opportunity against fellow winless side Mount Martha this weekend.
Elsewhere, Casey pulled away from Cleeland in the second half, winning 4-2, with Vincent Makota, Matthew Kallgianis, Lennon Hughes and Omid Khurrami all finding the back of the net.
Endeavour Hills, meanwhile, suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Noble Park, but will be favoured to bounce back this week against Bunyip, which is coming off a 4-2 loss to Rosebud.
