AROUND 800 canvas works were on display as part of a whole school Surreal Art Display last week at Pakenham Springs Primary School.
Students from Prep through to Grade 6 have been working on their own abstract paintings, which were on display as part of an open afternoons program for parents and friends to enjoy.
“All research shows that where parents take an active interest in the achievements of their children, children’s achievement increases,” Grade 2 teacher Susan McMahon said.
“We hope this opportunity will be used by many parents and their guests to come to the school and to help us celebrate and encourage our students on to even greater learning success.”
