CARDINIA Shire mayor Graeme Moore is a hatful of laughs ahead of his end of term event this Friday.
Cr Moore will be farewelled in front of guests from across the shire at his Mayor Hatter event on Friday 7 November, at the Cardinia Cultural Centre in Pakenham.
Much like Cr Moore, the farewell event will be anything but formal with guests encouraged to wear a hat in celebration of his past 12 months in the mayor’s chair.
Students from Officer Specialist School have also joined in the pre-farewell fun by making hats that will serve as table decorations for the two-course meal event.
Guests will also enjoy raffle prizes, silent auctions and entertainment provided by Cr Moore who was the former star of his high-school band, Razberry Jungle.
Tickets are available for $90 from Cardinia Cultural Centre on 1300 887 624. All proceeds will go toward Officer Specialist School.
