POLICE have charged two men with the alleged kidnapping of a Pakenham man last week.
Police believe the 23-year-old man was visiting friends on Atkins Road in Pakenham about 5pm on Monday 27 October when two men arrived and kidnapped him from outside the house.
The 24-year-old and 29-year-old Pakenham kidnappers detained the man for a 50km car trip to Seaford where he escaped to safety at a security office around 6pm.
Police said the man was visiting two people living at the Atkins Road home who were both assaulted by the men before the alleged kidnapping.
The men are expected to front the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in the coming months.
