Thanks for everything

THIS Saturday Victoria votes in the State Election. It is an important vote this year to secure Victoria’s future as the number one state in Australia.
I have had the honour and privilege to serve the Gembrook electorate since 2010 and am proud of our achievements locally. I would like to thank the many in the community who have worked with the government to see some amazing and outstanding outcomes in so many areas.
Local sporting clubs have received more than $3 million to ensure we have more people, more active, more often. This is good for our ongoing and long-term health benefits.
In the Gembrook electorate we have had record investment in roads with more than $100 million to complete projects and improve safety across the electorate. In addition to roads there were major investments in our rail network with more trains and improved punctuality, reliability and safety across the network.
I would like to mention three other major investments locally of which I and the community should be proud. The Officer Specialist School was fully funded, designed and delivered in this term of government and is one of the best specialist schools in Australia.
The funding to ensure the survival of Puffing Billy with a $4.9 million investment and commitment for a further $2.15 million is an investment in local tourism and jobs.
Finally, I am very proud of the $960,000 investment in youth mental Health initiatives and further commitment to $1 million to develop with Berwick Secondary College a first-class health and well-being centre.
This election, I ask your support to continue these projects. Only a Napthine Government has made these commitments and as the local member for Gembrook I will continue to be your voice on these important issues.
Thankyou for your support.
Brad Battin,
Liberal for Gembrook.
