Seniors organise Christmas lunch

PAKENHAM Senior Citizens Centre would like to wish members Des Maguire, Maria Bermudez, Maria Juhasz and Maureen Martin a happy birthday.
All members who are unwell are wished a speedy recovery and the centre sincerely hopes to see them back soon.
The club is looking forward to its Christmas lunch on Monday 15 December.
On Mondays, members meet for lunch at 11.15am which will be followed by a game of bingo.
Members can choose between craft between 10am to 2pm or billiards at 10am on Tuesday while carpet bowls will be offered at 1pm on Wednesday and Saturday.
At 10am on Thursday, tai chi will be offered to all members and the Spanish Speaking Group will meet on Friday at 10am.
Little tatts winners were Bill Bickerton. Jeff Meeds, Lily Jack, Thelma Adams, Betty Witt, Beth Webster, Arthur Lewis, Edna Long, Dennis Nicholson and Nan Scott.
The door prize went to Margaret Pagano and Eve Conroy while Judith Busch took home the raffle prize. Attendance at the last meeting was 125.
The club will close over the Christmas period, and is expected to reopen on Monday 19 January next year.
