KOOWEERUP Primary School was the beneficiary of a successful Oaks Day event, with $2500 going towards a shade sail at the school. Event organiser of the Oaks Day Fundraiser at the Pakenham Hotel Marie Hansen Nooy handed over the cheque to the school at their final assembly for the year on Friday. “I know the school is very grateful and I think it’s wonderful that we can support the students, staff and families,” Ms Hansen Nooy said.
