A PAKENHAM Rotary community auction will be held this Saturday to raise money for cancer research.
Organised by Relay for Life team Roaring Rotarians, many outstanding items including a meal voucher at Shankias Viale, beautiful jewellery from SP Jewellers, and a Ladies Pamper Pack to name a few will be up for grabs. You may also be able to purchase a hamper of fresh vegetables.
Team leader Jodie Owen said team members were motivated by the loss of loved ones.
“Sadly as everyone within the community Rotary members have been touched by this insidious disease,” she said.
“Personally, I know of four beautiful people who have passed away since Christmas.”
The auction will run from 2pm to 4pm at the Pakenham Hall. Entry is by gold coin donation.
