A DRIVER, who mistook the brakes for the accelerator, crashed into her neighbour’s Pakenham home last week.
At 6.30pm on Thursday 12 February, Pakenham State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers were called to a Cardinia Waters Retirement Village home where a car was wedged in the front entrance.
The driver, who is a retirement village resident, accidentally reversed her car out of her own driveway and into the front of the opposite residence.
SES workers stabilised the damaged home by boarding it up with plastic and acrow props.
