POLICE are investigating the recent theft of a truck and excavator from a rural property in Bayles.
It is believed unknown offenders entered the Ballarato Road property sometime between 7pm on Sunday 29 March and 5am on Monday 30 March and stole the truck, which had the excavator in the back tray.
The truck is a 1983 white Mercedes-Benz tray truck with registration FFB-896 and is valued at $20,000.
The excavator is a 2009 red Kubota KX 161, worth $40,000.
