Thankyou out of the blue

A WOMAN who needed medical attention at a large Tynong event last month has paid thanks to the emergency workers who came to her aid.
During an Anzac ceremony in Tynong, local CFA members became aware of a woman “in trouble”, and at risk of fainting.
The brigade’s defibrillator was located on a truck that was away for repairs so members called on neighbouring emergency crew Bunyip CFA for help.
Bunyip CFA arrived on scene soon after with their defibrillator.
At their training session on Sunday 3 May, Tynong CFA members were surprised with a thoughtful gift from the recovering woman’s husband.
The man, Kevin Chrimes, and his friend Cornellius Rowe gifted the brigade with a new defibrillator.
Firefighter Karen Damen said the whole brigade was “very thankful” for the donation.
