Breaking the ice on melting ice

THE Ice Meltdown Project, which aims to tackle the growing problem of drug addiction in the community, invites the community to attend its next forum in June.
Project founder Janice Ablett said the fortnightly meetings at Maxfield Hall in Drouin could attract more than 100 concerned locals at a time.
To date, 34 people addicted to ice, or methamphetamines, have been detoxed through the program.
The community meeting will be held at 7pm on Sunday 14 June.
