A TWENTY-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged after Wednesday’s drug raid on a house in Pakenham.
The woman was arrested at the scene when she returned home that night and charged with cultivating illegal drugs.
She was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on Thursday afternoon.
Senior Sergeant Graeme Stanley said on Thursday that there were “ongoing inquiries in relation to associated parties”.
Police removed the plants from the Gallery Way property on Thursday morning after a botanist and forensics teams was brought in to examine the scene.
It is believed there were upwards of 100 marijuana plants found inside the house.
