Classic cars are a show favourite.

9am – All Day Activities: Chainsaw sculpture artist Alan Ridley begins his sculpture (sponsored by Pakenham Mowers and Chainsaws), ferret racing, poultry and goat competitions (sponsored by Ridley), alpaca exhibition, Pakenham Floorball exhibition, Australian Giant Pumpkin/Vegetable Competition, vintage/hot rod cars, Emerald Historical Machinery, Glenmac Tractors, Berwick Wood Workers Club, Meccano and Hornby train exhibitions.
9am: Wally Wombat Trail begins – 15 stands – Parklea, Pakenham Gazette, Casey Cardinia Kids Magazine, Simplot Pakenham, Pakenham Central Marketplace, Pakenham Produce and Saddlery, Summer Snow, Gardening for Kids, Brian Paynter MP, NewsXpress Pakenham, Mama Rosa Pizza Restaurant Pakenham, Living and Learning Centre, Scouts, Bendigo Bank, Bunnings Warehouse Pakenham, Pakenham Boarding Cattery, Cardinia Environmental Coalition, Neighbourhood Watch, Casey-Cardinia Library, Officeworks, Australasian Giant Pumpkin and Vegetable Stand, Hardings Orchard Pakenham, Yakkerboo, Pakenham Men’s Shed. 9am: Animals on the Move Jumbo Barn (co-sponsors Pakenham Produce and Saddlery and Glenmac Tractors). Sheep shearing demonstrations, milking cow demonstrations.
9am: Throughout the day Airtime Scooters (sponsored by Shire of Cardinia).
9am: Cars on display will be a range from the 1930s through to the sixties era. There will be vehicles for all tastes including hot rods, classics and custom. Some of the cars will be new to the Pakenham area so don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy the display.
9am: Black Snake Productions exhibition/demonstrations (sponsored by Pakenham Central Marketplace).
9am: Pakenham Secondary College Trugo exhibition/demonstrations.
9am: AFL inflatables and the chance to win the Ultimate Footy Prize pack including Richmond FC merchandise and an iPad.
10am: Beyondblue Dunking Machine with Pakenham Rotary Club co-ordinating with a gold coin donation – First volunteer Craig Membrey (Membrey’s Transport and Crane Hire). Throughout the day Kathy Burgstahler (Kathy Burgstahler Real Estate), Paul Thomas (Director of Star News Group – Pakenham Gazette), Brian Paynter MP for Bass, Roger Thornton (Yellow Brick Road) and Sharon Patterson (Leading Senior Constable and Cardinia Youth Resource Officer).
10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm: Stilt walkers – The Water Drops.
11am: Cardinia Civic Concert Band (sponsored by Yellow Brick Road).
11.30: Centre activities begin – MC Cr Graeme Moore.
Gumboot throwing competition – cash prizes donated by Bill Ronald.
12.30pm: Alex Scott and Staff Dog High Jump Competition.
1pm: Junior Show Personalities (sponsored by Specialist Jewellers Pakenham, Toyworld Pakenham, NewsXpress Pakenham, Cardinia Pharmore Pharmacy).
1.30pm: Rural Iron Man, Rural Iron Woman and Rural Iron Junior (Under 18) Competition – cash prizes to be won.
2.30pm: Paper Plane Competition – Cash prizes donated by Michael Bishop.
All day: Chess Competition: U3A rooms (inside hall complex).

The dog competition is due to be held on Sunday 20 March at the PB Ronald Reserve.
