EMERGENCY crews were working to free a female motorist trapped in her car wedged in a roadside embankment in Pakenham Upper.
About 12.20pm on Wednesday 6 April, paramedics, police and firefighters were called to a crash on Pakenham Road just off Army Road in Pakenham Upper.
The female motorist’s blue Commodore appeared to have veered left off the road, crashing partly on its side in a gutter, during Wednesday’s downpour.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said crews were working to free the woman, who had yet to be assessed for possible road trauma injuries.
The road was blocked to traffic from Army Road.
