Smash and grab pizza shop burglary

A LARGE rock is thought to have been used in a smash-and-grab burglary, forcing the closure of a small pizza shop in Pakenham over the weekend.
Jessie’s Pizza store on John Street, Pakenham, was the subject of an overnight crime target, with offender/s using a rock to smash open the glass shop front about 1.16am on Saturday 2 July.
Police said cash was taken from inside the store register.
The store was closed on Monday.
