THE Kinders Together Association celebrated its 10th birthday on Monday 22 July.
Kinders Together project development co-ordinator Di Price said the not-for-profit community-based organisation was dedicated to the provision of high quality early education.
Established in 2006 with just four member centres, it has since grown more than fourfold and continues to expand. It currently caters for more than 1300 children.
“We manage 18 community kindergartens and one Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program,” Ms Price said.
“Growth has been substantial, and it is expected that we will enjoy continued expansion into the future.
“Our paramount objective is to ensure that all children have equal opportunities regardless of their individual abilities, background, economic status or family dynamics.
“Kinders Together has become an organisation that committees, families and the community can turn to for answers, providing a sense of belonging and proven strength in support and resources available across all kindergartens within the cluster.”
Its centres span from reaching communities in Pakenham, Bunyip, Lang Lang, Garfield, Bayles and Nar Nar Goon among others.
At the celebration, eight staff members were thanked for their loyalty for having remained with the organisation since its opening.
