Quick cash from fast food outlets

TAKE-OUT food outlets were hit hard by burglars in Kooweerup and Pakenham last week.
Multiple restaurants were broken into or were attempted at by thugs who even made a return visit to one of the targeted pizza shops in Koooweerup.
At 1.35am on Thursday 1 September, Bubbas Pizza and the noodle shop on Princes Highway, Pakenham, were targeted.
A rock was thrown at the pizza shop, shattering the glass and enabling the offender/s to get inside and steal a Samsung tablet. Nothing was taken from the noodle shop.
Overnight on Friday 2 September, attempts were made to get into ABZ pizza and subway in Kooweerup.
These were unsuccessful.
However, the next night an offender did manage to enter the pizza shop.
Police said the offender/s jimmied open the door, rummaged through the shop till, but didn’t steal anything.
A liquor store in Beaconsfield was also caught up in the crime raid.
At 4.36am on Thursday 1 September, the Thirsty Camel bottle shop on the Princes Highway in Beaconsfield was broken into through a rear door.
Offenders stole cash.
CCTV shows they were wearing gloves and balaclavas at the time of the incident.
