Good time for thieves

A WATCH valued at $12,000 was one of several pinched from the home of a high-end collector.
Suspect cars have been identified by police in relation to the possibly targeted burglary, which occurred in broad daylight.
Six watches were stolen from the collector’s Highland Drive, Pakenham home between 10.30am and 3.30pm on Thursday 8 September.
Police said the offender/s first unsuccessfully tried to force open the home’s rear door, but ended up getting in by smashing open a glass window.
Witnesses have come forward, telling police they saw a male wearing a yellow fluoro tradie top standing in the driveway around the time of the burglary.
Two Caucasian men aged in their early twenties were also witnessed in the street, sitting inside an old blue sedan.
Footage of a maroon hatchback parked nearby is also evidence in the police investigation.
It is at this stage unclear if the cars or men sighted in the area were involved in the burglary.
Police are told the watches are altogether valued at $15,000.
