POLICE have released pictures of three cars with suspected involvement in the unsolved shooting at a Pakenham tattoo parlour weeks ago.
More than a dozen gunshots were fired into Beautiful Body Art on Henry Street, Pakenham, about 2.35am on Tuesday 20 September.
Police have been unable to track down the culprits.
Investigators from Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) have released pictures of three cars that were possibly involved in the shooting.
One car is believed to be a silver Ford Falcon or similar, the second a dark coloured hatch, possibly a BMW, and the third a dark coloured sedan possibly a Commodore.
CCTV footage shows them travelling in convoy.
Police believe 16 shots were targeted into the tattoo shop front which was possibly also hit with a rock and/or Molotov cocktail.
Two of the images show the cars passing through the Cook Drive, Pakenham, roundabout within less than 10 seconds of each other.
Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
