CARDINIA Waters residents dressed up in their best frocks and suits for Melbourne Cup day.
A well-organised group ran sweeps on most of the day’s races.
The day featured a fashion parade of best dressed ‘Fillies and Colts’, with winners Leah Rinkel and Geoff Hardman claiming the prize.
