A SPECIALLY modified racing car worth $100,000 has been stolen from a property in Officer.
The white Holden VE SS utility, registered AAJ 141, was sitting on a car trailer inside the shed of a Armitage Road home in Officer when it was stolen between 5.30am and 8.40am on Monday 7 November.
Police said thieves broke into the shed, pushed the ute off the trail and drove it from the property.
The vehicle, which has been modified for quarter mile drag racing, was later seen being driven erratically in Tullamarine and Beaconsfield.
Debbie Taylor-Palmer took to social media to call for the high-speed car’s safe return.
“Any car is dangerous in the wrong hands and this one especially,” she wrote.
