POLICE are investigating a bizarre arson attempt at a home in Pakenham.
Police said paper and timber was stacked up against the front security door of a Buchan Green home and set alight some time between 3pm on Thursday 24 November and 9.30pm on Sunday 27 November.
The front door was visibly charred but the home was not broken into.
