AN UNSUCCESSFUL ram raid at a Pakenham petrol station has left significant damage to the building, and police are searching for those responsible.
Police said a small white car was used in the attack which took place at the BP petrol station near McDonalds on the Princes Highway about 1.20am on Saturday 22 November.
It’s believed the car has been driven into the petrol station, and then reversed at speed into the glass entrance and also security bollards.
One of the bollards was broken in the impact and the car is thought to have been badly damaged but managed to drive off.
Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the incident.
