Hillview (Bunyip) resident and local identity, Duncan Holman (QFSM) was recently invited to visit State Parliament by State Member for Narracan, Gary Blackwood MP.
Gary has had a long-standing interest in our WW2 veterans and CFA volunteers. Duncan fits the bill on both counts, having served Australia in the Pacific Islands with the 2nd 7th Field Engineers and being Victoria’s longest-serving CFA Volunteer with 79 years of service.
Duncan was invited to view the goings-on during Question Time, and have lunch in the Member’s Dining Room followed by a tour of parliament.
Duncan would like to thank Mr Blackwood for his gracious hospitality and his ongoing support for our veterans and CFA volunteers.
