A Ford Falcon stolen from Hallam was found torched and dumped in Pakenham.
Police are investigating the theft and fire of the vehicle, which was allegedly taken from a Frawley Road, Hallam address overnight on 8 January.
It is believed the vehicle, a 2009 silver Ford Falcon with the registration 1CJ7MU, was taken sometime between 9.20pm and 11.30pm.
The car was discovered burnt out on McGregor Road in Pakenham at 11:40pm.
