 The 2018 Berwick Show
The Berwick Show offers something for everyone with carnival rides, show bags, animal nursery, arts and crafts exhibition, fun run, cooking, beaut utes and talented performers starring on stage. There will also be horses, show jumping, cattle, sheep, goats, alpacas, rabbits, poultry and the popular dog high jump. Presented by the Berwick and District Agricultural and Horticultural Society and supported by the City of Casey, the annual show has entertainment and attractions that people of all ages can enjoy.
– Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February from 9am – 9pm at Akoonah Park, 2 Cardinia Street, Berwick. Cost: Adults $20, Concession $15, Children aged 10-15 years $10, Children under 10 free. Family tickets $40.

Relay for Life
Relay For Life is an overnight community event where teams participate in a relay-style walk or run to raise funds for Cancer Council Victoria.
There will be plenty of fun and entertainment to keep participants and spectators motivated.

Fun at parkrun
Participate with more than 100 others in a free five-kilometre timed event every Saturday morning. The event caters for serious runners and for those wanting a jog or even a walk.

Adopt a pet
RSPCA Victoria is expecting to “Clear the Shelter” this weekend with a $29 adoption fee for all animals for three days. Around 1,000 dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits will be available for the significantly reduced adoption price at all seven RSPCA Victoria animal care centres and participating Petbarn stores. All adoption animals are de-sexed, microchipped, vaccinated, health and behaviour checked.
-Friday 23 February to Sunday 25 February at RSPCA Peninsula Centre located at 1030 Robinsons Road, Pearcedale. Petbarn Narre Warren at 430 Princes Hwy, Narre Warren will also be participating in the promotion.

Lunar New Year at the market
There’ll be dragon and lion dancing, Chinese drumming and Taekwondo to welcome the Year of the Dog.
There’ll be a pop-up food bazaar with 16 vendors . Live entertainment will include a flying dragon spanning more than 20 metres.
