The Casey, Pakenham, and Sandringham basketball associations have partnered up to bring the local basketball community the 2018 South Eastern Junior Basketball Tournament.
The competition will run across multiple venues, which may include Casey Stadium, Cardinia Life and Sandringham Basketball Stadium, and has already fielded entries from Casey, Pakenham, Sandringham, Dandenong, Westernport, Altona, and Phillip Island.
There has also been significant interest from teams in Warragul, Sale, Wonthaggi, Shepparton, Southern Peninsula, Diamond Valley, Knox and Nunawading.
The tournament is set to run over the Labour Day weekend – from 10-12 March – and will see some of the state’s best young talent on display.
It is expected that between 150 and 200 teams will be competing.
