Lakeside College hosted its first community carnival at the weekend, to a smashing success.
With the weather in their favourite, large crowds of the school and broader community came together on 3 March for a fun-filled day of food, rides and laughter.
“It was fantastic. It all went really well, the weather was lovely, it was the perfect day,” a college spokesperson said.
The day’s activities included food stalls, sky-high rides, market stalls and plenty of entertainment for children and those young at heart.
The carnival served as a fund-raiser for the school, and while the final tally is not yet known, the school has plans to host similar events in the future.
“We will definitely do it again,” the school spokesperson said.
