Pakenham man charged after threat at shopping centre

Police have charged a Pakenham man following an incident at a shopping centre in Pakenham on Monday 10 December.

Police were called to Windermere Boulevard about 2.30pm in response to a man allegedly confronting a group of youths.

It is alleged the man confronted six youths in the shopping centre before getting in his car and allegedly driving on the footpath toward the group as they walked outside.

The 32-year-old has been charged with multiple offences including driving in a dangerous manner, behaving in an offensivive manner, making threats to kill and unlawful assault.

He has been bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 25 February, 2019.
