A woman came face-to-face with an intruder in her home in Henry Street, Pakenham on May 3 at about 11.45pm.
The victim was upstairs when the offender entered the home via the downstairs rear sliding door.
She confronted the intruder before he quickly took off.
He was described as young and Caucasian.
