Alleged assault on public transport

Police released a CCTV image of this man whom they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.

Police are on the hunt for a man in relation to an alleged sexual assault incident which occurred earlier this year.

On Thursday 28 March, it’s alleged two 16-year-old girls boarded a bus at Pakenham Railway Station between 5pm and 5.30pm when it’s alleged an incident occurred in transit between the station and Fountain Gate Shopping Centre.

It’s understood the man was observed allegedly undoing the fly to his pants, where he proceeded to perform a sexual activity directed at another.

It is not known when the alleged offender boarded the bus, however he disembarked at the Fountain Gate Shopping Centre.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, medium build, aged in his late 40’s to early 50’s with brown hair that has started to go grey.

He was wearing light blue jeans with a fluro shirt with the words ‘Look Environmental’ printed on it.
