A Pakenham property has been raided by police, with officers seizing 216 cannabis plants.

The SD3 Divisional Response Unit conducted a search warrant under the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act (DPCSA) at a property on Carey Crescent on Friday 18 October.

It’s understood police are yet to make any arrests in relation to this incident but investigations continue.

The Unit have warned they will continue to execute warrants of this nature in a bid to disrupt offending.

Police said they were “committed” to the pillars of drug minimisation, tackling the prevention and treatment of drugs while also reducing supply.

The raid comes just a day after the Frontline Tactical Unit were out in force across Cardinia, Casey and Greater Dandenong searching for offenders with outstanding arrest warrants as part of Operation Tidal.

The operation is focused on keeping the community safe from high harm crime, with police stating anyone with an outstanding arrest warrant will be found.
